Once you have clicked the link at the bottom of the post, you will be in the Audience. This allows us to bring you in as we are ready to chat with you.

Please make sure you are on a desktop or laptop computer and in a Google Chrome browser.  You can also download the Riverside.fm app on Apple.

This does not work on Android mobile phones!

You may see this as you first join. When we start recording, the video feed will appear on your screen.

 Once recording has started and you see the video feed, the option to “start live call in” will appear. Below the Live video, you will see a button to “Start Live Call In” Click that button and follow the prompts.

As an audience member, you can click “Start Live Call In”. Fill in your name so we know who you are.

This will then prompt the user to type in their name and question.

Once submitted, the host will be able to accept or deny the request.

If this is your first time on the site, you may need to request permissions. To do this, simply press “Request Camera Permissions.” This will prompt a popup to occur, asking if Riverside can access your microphone and camera. Select “Allow.”

Now that Riverside has access to your microphone and camera, you can setup your audio and video settings before joining the session.

Once your settings are dialed in, you can enter your name and select whether you are wearing headphones. Wearing headphones is mandatory as this will improve audio quality, and reduce any potential feedback or echo (plus it will make your host happy!).

To recap, this is what you will see:

Step 1: Once the recording has started, you will see the video feed start. Click on “start live call in”

Step 2: You will allow permissions and see this box pop up. Please type your name and a brief version on your question.

Step 3: Select “I am using Headphones”.  You will then click “start live call” and hang out until we bring you in. There is a chat off to the side. I will use this to communicate with you as well.

Just hang out until the time you are scheduled and we will “accept” you to come into the recording at that time. 

Please note: You are all welcome to be in the audience for the full duration of the show. You may need to “rejoin” after the your time in the studio ends. The chat function will be available to ask a producer questions or interact with each other as well. ***Please make sure you add your name and type your question in the chat and add your info on this google sheet a producer can see your questions

Please use the google sheet ^^^ to type your question and email! If I can’t email you after and there are issues with your file upload, we won’t be able to use your question!

• If you are selected to ask your question live, please remember to leave the Riverside tab open in your Chrome Browser after you finish asking your question so the recording file completely uploads. You recording will continue to upload even after you are done on camera. You will get a “green checkmark” when you are done.
• If you accidently close out, you can go to this link, riverside.fm/upload and your files will be found and uploaded.
• You may need to rejoin the call if you were live, the hang up button does not always return you to watch the live stream. Just simply click the link below to rejoin.
