Submissions were accepted between January 2019 and April 2020, with a record number of entries despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 66-storey Stantec Tower — Canada’s tallest building outside of Toronto — and the JW Marriott Edmonton Ice District & Residences Building received the accolade from Engineering News-Record’s eighth annual Global Best Projects competition.
